Get ready to walk...Step One Challenge starts soon.

WHAT: Step One Challenge

WHEN: Registration is from March 27 through April 13. Contest begins April 28.

WHERE: Sign up at the following locations: Cleveland County Health Department, Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Kings Mountain Hospital, First National Bank in the county, Cleveland County libraries, senior centers in Kings Mountain and Shelby, Shelby City Park and all YMCA locations in the county.

WHO: Anyone who lives or works in Cleveland County can sign up. Participants must age 12 or older.

HOW: Each participant is given a pedometer and they log their steps. Conversion sheets are used for activities other than walking.
