Video poker case update 9.10.07
I'm in Asheville today with The Star Car to cover legal proceedings in the Henderson Amusements video poker case.
Marvin Marty Babb, who prosecutors say set up meeting with witnesses and tried to get them to lie in their grand jury testimony, is scheduled to appear in front of a judge today to plead guilty to two charges in an agreement with the federal government.
He was suppose to plea at 11 a.m. but the case was continued until 1:30 p.m. So for now, I'll be sipping on my white choclate mocha while walking around downtown Asheville.
I'll update when I get new information.
