A woman was struck by a truck in front of the Tractor Supply store about 2 p.m. Saturday. The woman was taken to Cleveland Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

I am the courts and government reporter for the Shelby Star. Previously, I covered government for the News-Topic in Lenoir, NC. In 2004, I graduated with a B.A. in Journalism from Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, MD. During my time in college, I was editor of the student newspaper, The Columbia Journal.
